Golf is gaining more fans all the time, and while the hardcore golf fanatics know that Asia has some of the most challenging courses on earth, few have experienced Vietnam. We recently took our most keen clientele to Vietnam for a golf experience unlike any other. We played 18 holes on 4 different courses and each course had something unique to it. As avid golfers ourselves we ventured out to try all that Vietnam has to offer as far as golf goes, and we weren't disappointed. We will be providing this golf tour bi-annually with great interest from our golf network.
PPGT Experience 1: Golfing at night is a surreal experience. We've all experienced golf in the daytime, but never did we realise that pre-bedtime golf has its benefits!
Nocturnal golfing was a highlight of our Platinum Pro Golf Tours trip to Vietnam. We were able to experience nine holes of golf in the humidity of Vietnam at night and it was an absolutely surreal experience.
PPGT Experience 2: Enjoy the caddie experience. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to a level of luxury that most had never experienced before. Being escorted around the golf course with caddies for every game on every course was a truly luxurious experience. The caddies are the most friendly and knowledgeable people we have ever experienced. They really added to the fun of our games.
PPGT Experience 3: Explore a Fairytale in the French Village of BaNa Hills. Ba Na Hills is located 25 km southwest of Da Nang at an altitude of 1,487m. It is considered to be “one of the world's best temperate places in the tropical forest” because it has cool weather all year round, and you can experience four seasons within a single day: spring in the morning, like summer by noon, autumn by the afternoon and winter in the evening! With refreshingly cool weather and gorgeous countryside views, Ba Na Hills is a real treasure of Da Nang. This 70 million structured “French Village” is high altitude with some of the world’s greatest architectural buildings, alleys, shops, hotels and iconic views high up accessible via one of the world's largest cable cars—a must see for tourists visiting Ba Na Hills.
PPGT Experience 4: Venture across the Golden Bridge. The Golden Bridge is a 150-metre-long pedestrian bridge in the Bà Nà Hills resort, near Da Nang, Vietnam. It is designed to connect the cable car station with the gardens and to provide a scenic overlook and tourist attraction. The bridge loops nearly back around to itself and has two giant stone hands designed to appear to support the structure.
PPGT Experience 5: Playing only the best golf courses this country has to offer. Including but not limited to Ba Na Hills, Hoiana Shores and The Bluffs. These courses have been designed by the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Robert Trent-Jones Jr and Greg Norman.
